DRAFT — placeholder document, not legal advice

Terms of Service

Draft last updated: October 20, 2026. This is a placeholder for product review and does not constitute legal advice or binding terms.

Please note: This page is a clearly labelled draft. Do not rely on it as a final legal document. Reviewed terms will be published before launch.

1. About these draft terms

These draft terms outline how Subscriptly is intended to operate as a subscription-tracking service. They are published for transparency during development and will be replaced by reviewed, binding terms before general availability. Nothing on this page is legal advice.

2. The service

Subscriptly helps you record recurring subscriptions, receive renewal reminders, view spending analytics, and review rules-based savings suggestions. Subscriptly does not purchase, cancel, or manage subscriptions with third-party providers on your behalf, and it does not provide financial advice. Any decision to keep, cancel, or change a subscription remains yours.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the subscription information you enter, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use paid plans.

4. Plans and billing

Free, Pro, and Team plans are described on the Pricing page. Prices shown are example launch pricing in USD and will be confirmed at checkout. Paid plans, once live, will bill in advance for the chosen period. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout. Fees already paid are handled as described at checkout and in the final terms.

5. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the subscription data you enter. You grant Subscriptly a limited licence to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the service to you (and, for Team workspaces, to members you invite). You may export your data at any time and delete your account when you wish.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access another user's workspace, interfering with the service's operation, uploading unlawful content, or using the service to collect another person's credentials or payment details. We may suspend accounts that violate these expectations, with notice where reasonable.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Subscriptly available and accurate, but reminders and analytics depend on the data you enter, including amounts and renewal dates. We may update features, pricing for future periods, and these terms as the product evolves, with notice of material changes as described in the final terms.

8. Liability (draft summary)

This draft intentionally does not attempt to state a complete liability framework. The final terms will address warranties, limitations of liability, and governing law following legal review. In the meantime, treat Subscriptly's reminders and suggestions as aids to your own review — always confirm amounts and dates with the provider billing you.

9. Contact

Questions about these draft terms should be directed via the contact details provided in the final terms at launch. Use of the pre-launch service is at the discretion of the operator and may be limited to invited or early users.
